British, eclectic, adventurous (just moved here) I've just moved here from Wales (UK) on a complete whim - and I don't know anybody! It's an odd situation to be in. I'm up for meeting anybody who's interesting, curious and/or pleasant. Definitely up for some casual dating too (heterosexual, sorry fellahs) I've been single for 10 months now so I guess I should get myself back out there, right? I want to do lots of exciting things whilst I'm Toronto and some company would be great.
So back in the UK I was a comedy promoter, interviewer and I directed comedy shorts (I generally worked with comedians). On my youtube account (/imjackcooper) you can find interviews with Stewart Lee, Richard Herring, Rhod Gilbert, Reginald D Hunter and Robin Ince.
I adore stand-up and sitcoms; too much to list but I’ll go for it anyway. I’ve been BIG into my American stuff recently (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Parks and Recreation, Party Down, Louie etc) and thanks to Mark Maron’s WTF podcast my knowledge of North American stand-ups is starting to develop. British stand-up I’m well into a lot of anti-comedy stuff like Ed Aczel, George Cottier and Paul Foot (if you’ve heard of these people then we’re probably gonna get on). Sit-com and TV wise... It’s more a case of what don’t I like! And the answer to that is Two Pints of Larger and Packet of Crisps. God that’s s---e.
